Is there an elementary Science Olympiad where you live?
There is no national elementary tournament — each state, and sometimes each county, runs its own with its own event list. Here is what we found for the states families come to us from: who runs it, this season's dates, the events, and which of them your kid can practise on OlyPrep today.
§01 / How elementary Science Olympiad works
A patchwork, on purpose.
Science Olympiad's national office publishes an elementary kit, not a tournament: states and counties pick their own events, write their own rules, and set their own dates. Grades vary (2–6), slates vary (nine to twenty-two events), and the same event name can mean a different scope two states over. The middle-school division — Division B — is the first one with a single national rulebook.
