By creating an OlyPrep account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

Who can sign up

OlyPrep is built for elementary Science Olympiad kids, but the account holder is always a parent, guardian, or coach (an adult). Kids access the app through an account a grown-up has set up for them. If you're under 13, ask a parent or guardian to set up the account.

What OlyPrep does

OlyPrep gives kids a focused study surface for individual Science Olympiad topics — practice tests, an AI Coach, audio lessons, and study notes. It is a study tool. It is not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, or coach, and it doesn't guarantee any particular result at a competition.

Plans and billing

• Free — core practice on a small number of topics, no payment, no card on file.
• Premium — $12.99 per month, billed monthly, with unlimited practice tests, AI Coach access, study notes, and a weekly parent digest. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops the next billing cycle. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.
• Plans, prices, and what's included may change. We'll give you advance notice for material changes that affect existing subscribers.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. One account is meant for one household. Don't share your login outside the family or team you signed up for.

Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Try to break, overwhelm, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or republish OlyPrep content (including practice questions and study notes) outside personal use.
• Use the AI Coach to harass, deceive, or generate content unrelated to a kid studying for Science Olympiad.
• Try to access another user's account or data.
• Use the service for anything illegal, or in a way that puts a minor at risk.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Content and AI

The AI Coach, generated practice questions, study notes, and audio lessons are produced by large language models. They can be wrong, outdated, or incomplete. Treat them as a study aid — verify anything important with a textbook, teacher, or the official rulebook before relying on it.

Practice answers your kid types and conversations with the AI Coach are stored on our servers so the kid can return to them and so the parent digest works. We don't claim ownership of those entries; you grant us the limited license needed to operate, display, and back up the service.

Intellectual property

The OlyPrep app, brand, and curated content (study notes, topic copy, audio lessons) are ours. Past competition tests we link to are the work of the Science Olympiad organizations that produced them and remain their property; we link to the originals where possible.

Disclaimers

OlyPrep is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — about the service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Termination

You can cancel your account at any time. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms; we'll explain why if we do. Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes

We'll update these terms as the product evolves. When we change anything substantive we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, email accountholders. Continued use of OlyPrep after the change date means you accept the updated terms.
